How We Work

When a Front Range storm rolls through, a cleared driveway, sidewalk, or parking lot isn't just a convenience — it's how you get to work, keep customers coming through the door, and stay on the right side of local sidewalk-clearing rules.

Brooks Landscape is bringing snow and ice management to our Northern Colorado service area for the 2026–2027 winter, backed by the same crews that have designed, built, and maintained landscapes across the Front Range since 2006. The season runs November 1 through April 15, and contracted clients get automatic service: once snowfall reaches 2 inches, we're on our way — no phone call needed. We aim to service every property within 12 hours after snowfall ends, working accounts in route priority order.

For homeowners, service is billed per visit at a flat rate — a standard 2-car driveway is $45 per visit and includes attached walkways, steps, and the entry approach, with larger and oversized drives quoted at signup. Ice melt application is available for $25 per visit, and a public-sidewalk frontage add-on is available where city code requires clearing.

For businesses, we plow parking lots and drive lanes, clear sidewalks and entryways with dedicated sidewalk equipment, stack or relocate snow on site, and apply bulk ice melt where authorized. Commercial work is billed hourly by labor and equipment class, and fixed-price seasonal contracts are available — quoted per property based on lot size, walk footage, and priority level.

Major storms over 12 inches, or events with heavy drifting, are handled on a time-and-materials basis, and we'll communicate before any extra equipment charges come into play.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does automatic snow service kick in?
For contracted clients, service begins automatically once snowfall accumulates to 2 inches — no call needed. For accumulations under 2 inches, we come out on request at standard rates. During long storms we may make multiple visits, each billed per the rate schedule.
What does residential snow removal cost?
A standard 2-car driveway is $45 per visit and includes attached walks, steps, and the entry approach. Larger 3-car or extended driveways are $55, and oversized, circular, or long rural drives start at $65 and are quoted at signup. Ice melt application is $25 per visit.
How is commercial snow removal billed?
Commercial properties are billed hourly by labor and equipment class — shovel crews, sidewalk machines, plow trucks, and skid steers each have their own rate — with a half-hour minimum per visit. Fixed-price seasonal contracts (November through April) are also available, quoted per property.
How fast do you get to my property after it snows?
We service accounts in route priority order and aim to reach every property within 12 hours after snowfall ends, subject to storm severity. Big storms over 12 inches may take multiple visits and are billed time-and-materials.
When should I sign up for the season?
Before the season starts. The service season runs November 1 through April 15, Front Range storms can arrive as early as October, and seasonal routes fill up first. Contact us in late summer or early fall to lock in your spot on the route.
Do you serve all of Severance?
Yes. We serve Severance and the surrounding Weld County communities including Severance town center, North Severance, Rural parcels west of town, CR 74 corridor, and more. Contact us to confirm coverage for your specific address.
